The 15 Rules

We want to chill out and have fun here. In order to do that, there are a set of rules that we all need to abide by.

Please read the following, take them seriously, and realise that in not following them, you will be banned.

1. There is to be no sexual/pornographic content posted.
I don't care if you want to have dirty banter, but no rude photos or video links, please.

2. There is to be no hateful or abusive content.
Again, if you want to take the mickey out of each other, that's fine. But there will be no serious abuse/hate/bullying of any kind.

3. There is to be no tearing down of people or products to spoil reputations.
It's fine if you don't like something/someone - you're entitled to your opinion. However, you do not need to push this on others.

4. There is to be no selling stuff or advertisements.
There is an area to promote yourself if you're a Youtuber/Blogger, but please keep it in that one area, and avoid Ebay linking etc. I'm all for promoting content, but advertisements are unnecessary here.

5. There is to be no promoting of illegal activity.
I don't care if you want to joke about hypothetical stupid stuff, but no conning kids into drugs or anything like that - it will not be tolerated.

6. Don't infringe copyright.
I'm putting this in here because all of these rules are super enforced by the people who allow these forums to be made, but it's a funny line when we're all wanting to discuss all of these things that don't belong to us. I guess don't claim that you made it.
(Also, I'll state here that I have no association with/do not own rights to anything Mattel, MGA Entertainment, Hasbro, Disney or other toy/children's entertainment companies. I merely purchase and use the tools they have provided us all to create content for YouTube/Instagram/Facebook/Twitter or any other social media for enjoyment and nothing more. No copyright infringement(s) intended!)

7. There will be no hacking.

8. There will be no spam.
Obviously this goes hand in hand with no advertising/selling stuff, but also relates to double-posting. Please do not double-post unless absolutely necessary. You have 24 hours to edit your previous post, if you were wanting to add to it.

9. Don't give out false info and lie to gain sensitive information from users.
Basically, no credit card scams or trying to get email addresses or anything like that. We don't need that here.

10. Do not share your sensitive information here.
Following on from the above rule, you're only putting yourself in danger by sharing bank details, logins, passwords, addresses, IRD/social security numbers or anything like that. Feel free to share your thoughts, feelings, opinions, experiences etc, but don't give out the secret stuff.

11. Keep discussion true to the topic title.
The topic title is there for a reason! If you're wanting to talk about something unrelated, look at making a new topic.

12. Look before creating a double of the same topic.
I'll try to keep on top of this as best as I can, but I'm only one lady. If you're about to create a new topic, just check to see it doesn't already exist. Easy as! We don't need double ups.

13. Only positivity lives here.
I realise that the internet is a great place for picking fights without getting your nose punched in, but this forum is about spreading ideas, inspiration and thoughts, and most importantly, about bringing all doll lovers together! It's fine to have an opinion on something, or not like something, but don't dwell on it. We want the happy stuff!

14. Don't log on to annoy people.
Much the same as above, if you're in a mood, maybe log off for a while. We don't need you to scroll through topics until you find people buzzing about a new doll, and you come in with the sole purpose of upsetting them by saying how much it sucks and they're stupid for liking it etc. It's sure fun to be a troll, but I'm only going to find and delete your posts. Please don't make me work harder than I need to, I like to be lazy.

15. Watch your language.
Booooo! Lol this one is generally hated, but I want to keep it a little bit family friendly. I've created all my Barbiesville content to be aimed at my fourteen year old self, but obviously a lot of doll lovers are actually much younger than that, and they could wind up reading your posts. I've put some censor thingies on, but I'm not a pro, so maybe just use the lame alternatives you have to use in front of your elderly neighbour or whatever.

If you made it all the way through, thank you so much! I'm proud of you. It took me over an hour to write all this while half asleep, so the fact that you did read it makes it worth it.
